Solid Timber Flooring

We can supply and install a range of solid timber floors, including recycled Matai and Rimu. Eucalypts such as Tasmanian oak, Saligna and Pilularis are popular and many are grown here in New Zealand, making them a cost effective flooring option. All solid timber supplied by us comes from managed forests.

To ensure your solid floor is installed with as few gaps as possible, we have invested in a clamp called the NoBow. Compressed air is used to push the boards together. This is especially useful with recycled floor boards, which need to be encouraged to straighten and fit the shape of a new location.

We have contractors available to carry out any floor preparation, such as floor levelling, concrete grinding or a pre-sand of existing timber flooring; and the sanding and coating of the installed floor.

Finishing Touches

We can do anything needed to finish your floor - edge bars, timber thresholds, stair nosings, silicon joints, skirting boards. All of these will be covered when we visit you and included in your comprehensive quote.

Care for your floor after installation is also very important and we carry a range of products designed to help maintain and lengthen the life of your floor.
